Creamy Mozzarella Shrimp Pasta
Mozzarella is just about as Italian as you can get, so there's no wonder it's a staple of many a traditional cheese pasta dish!
As the name indicates, creamy mozzarella shrimp pasta consisting of heavy cream and shrimp. This is one of the easiest dinner recipes ever.
Take a medium heated pan, saute chopped garlic in 2 tbsp olive oil.
Add peeled 1 pound shrimp, salt and cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side.
Move shrimp from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add 1½ cup heavy cream,
1 cup mozzarella,
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes,
2 tbsp chopped basil and ½ tsp red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Return shrimp to the pan and add 2 tbsp lemon juice.
Add 2 cups boiled penne pasta and combine.
Move to a plate, decorate with chopped basil.
The easy dinner recipe is ready to serve!
